About Us
Hi and welcome to our blog. We are excited about the chapter of life we find ourselves in and are glad to have you be part of our adventure. Jeremiah & Charity had a wonderful wedding at the Precious Moments Park & Chapel in Carthage, MO on September 25, 2004 and took up residence in rural Indiana where Jeremiah was already living. We’ve been happily married ever since and have had the joy and privilege of bringing four boys into the world; Jadon, Rylan, Austin, & Gilon. We are a Christian family who loves God and loves each other.
Both Jeremiah & Charity were home-schooled K-12 and have carried on the tradition by home schooling our boys. We couldn’t be prouder of our Christian based home-school heritage.
Jeremiah has five brothers, Charity has four brothers, and together we have four sons. As you can see we understand boys real well. We are grateful to our parents for bringing us into the world and for the marvelous time we had growing up.
Jeremiah
Jeremiah, originally from Texas, holds an Associate of Science in Business Management and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a minor in Economics both from Indiana University and currently works in the cloud computing – technology industry.
I have a variety of interests including; geography, history, travel, sports (table tennis, football, tennis, exercising, etc.), outdoor activities (yard work, hunting, backpacking, camping, etc.), statistics & spreadsheets, and southern gospel music. I also have an extensive knife collection and love finding new unique knives to add to the collection (I would collect guns too but they cost more). Of late, I’ve particularly gotten interested in ultra-light backpacking and yes, I’ve turned into one of those ounce counting guys who does everything possible to reduce the weight of my pack. I love spending time in the raw nature that God created. I’m blessed to have a wife as supportive, caring, and loving as Charity and a beautiful bunch of boys!
Charity
Charity, originally from Kansas, is a homemaker and we wouldn’t want it any other way! She’s had over a decade of experience taking care of our household and has home-schooled our children from the beginning.
I enjoy traveling (especially out west or to a beach), spending time with my family, coupon & bargain shopping, online scrapbooking, cake decorating, photography, DIY projects, decorating our home, getting breaks from the kids – 4 boys all the time is a lot of work:-), and sitting on the front porch in the early morning with a cup of coffee before the kids wake up and the busy day begins.
Our Boys
Our four wonderful boys (clockwise starting top left): Jadon Alexander (born in 2006), Rylan Montgomery (born in 2009), Gilon Walker (born in 2015), Austin Dominic (born in 2012). These guys are so fun!
About Our Blog
We’ve toyed with the idea of a blog for a long time, specifically on the topics that we are passionate about and felt readers would both enjoy and benefit from. It was always just an idea but we never actually did anything about it. Besides, we’re pretty private people that really don’t put ourselves out there on social media or other venues. After buying an RV and deciding to spend time traveling and making memories, we knew we wanted to capture our amazing journey however it turns out. So we decided if for no other reason than our own historical record, we would blog about our adventures with the RV….and while we’re at it, why not other things as well?
